About Nicholas Rosati

I am a Canadian lawyer, called to the BC Bar, with experience spanning the public and private sectors, including in-house counsel roles at international organizations, judicial clerkships, and private practice. My career has focused on providing practical legal advice that aligns with strategic objectives, good governance, and public interest considerations. I bring expertise in governance, regulatory frameworks, policy development, and risk mitigation, with a deep understanding of public sector contexts. I have advised a range of clients on complex legal matters, including commercial contracts, procurement, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, intellectual property, and labour and employment law. My experience combines BC-rooted legal training with international exposure, enabling me to deliver pragmatic legal solutions aligned with institutional objectives. I am fluent in English and French, with advanced German proficiency. I also bring specialized expertise in climate and human rights law, having completed a graduate degree in International Human Rights Law at Oxford University (LLM equivalent). My dissertation examined climate-related, human rights-based claims before adjudicative bodies. This work informs my approach to governance, regulatory, and public interest issues, including environmental regulation and Indigenous rights in British Columbia.
