About Nicholas Spinks
Passionate about working with young adults, either in schools, university or residential colleges. I believe that strong relationships of trust are central to effective pedagogy and leadership, to create strong cultures of achievement. Currently the Vice Warden at St John's College at the University of Queensland - my old residential college. I was formerly a pedagogical coach and Recruitment Team Manager at Teach for Australia. I was also lecturer in charge at ACU across Masters-level subjects. I previously taught Media and Legal Studies at Mill Park Secondary College and before that, I was teaching at Ararat Secondary College from 2014 - 2015. Formerly a litigation lawyer and writer, I graduated from The University of Queensland in 2008 with a dual Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Laws.
