I joined Marcol in London in 2023 as an asset manager reponsible for driving forward the self storage business in Germany, seeing the process through planning, development, store openings and managing the budgeting and financing for the portfolio. I was previously responsible for various properties in the Marathon Asset Management German real estate portfolio - focused primarily on food anchored retail. I completed numerous refurbishments, extensions and lease re-gears in order to stabilise assets for strategic exit, whether as individual transactions or larger portfolio sales. Prior to moving to London, I spent 10 years in Berlin working for DTZ and Patrizia, as asset manager for various shopping centres and retail parks throughout Germany. I qualified as a Chartered Surveyor with DTZ in Manchester in 2002, following a graduate scheme working in property management and valuation for retail, office and industrial properties and retail agency.
