Experienced investment professional with a demonstrated history of working in the banking/financial industry. Holding a Bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting, plus Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree focused in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. Strong understanding of sales, service & coaching methodologies. Disciplined sales manager with proven results, driven by challenges. Strong believer in building deep relationships with internal business partners is the key to success. Skilled in Share broking, Portfolio Management, Relationship Management and Banking. Currently responsible for evaluating and making recommendations to the ASB Investment Committee for the execution of investment strategies at the Asset Class level. These strategies and managers comprise $18 billion funds under management and seven individual managers. Also responsible for the review of Asset Class strategies and the appointment, ongoing monitoring and replacement of underlying investment managers. Work closely with the fund managers to ensure they are meeting all requirements under IMA’s, both with respect to performance and operationally. Support the objective of ASB providing investment outcomes that are competitive with market peers, while meeting the investment objectives of the customers of ASB’s investment offers, including managed funds and DIM’s model portfolios.
