About Nicholas Wile

Hi, my name is Nick Wile. I am a graduate of Otterbein University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and minor and mathematics. As an undergraduate student I got my start in biomechanics as an undergraduate research assistant in both microscale DNA biomechanics as well as sports biomechanics in the Otterbein Biomechanics Institute. I am currently pursuing a research track M.S. degree at The Ohio State University with my research focus being in biomechanics. My research focuses on enhancing the recovery of patients who have undergone Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) Reconstruction surgery following a tear. I am a member of a interdisciplinary team of Physical Therapists as well as Biomedical, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers working out of the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute.On top of my academic and research work I am the head lacrosse coach at Hilliard Darby high school as well as a coach for True Lacrosse Club.
