Background

About Nicholas Williams

I am a recognised leader in digital innovation in the engineering, design and construction industries. At Veris I lead the digital advisory business, working with both asset owners and contractors to shape the digital capabilities that make them leaders in their industries. Prior to this I practiced in a range of consultancies - first as an architect, then in parametric modelling and fabrication, later driving organisational transformation and leading cross-disciplinary teams on major urban redevelopments. Data-centric practices have been the common theme, and through this lens I have delivered tangible outcomes to complex issues and diverse organisations. I also retain strong ties to academia, contributing to conferences, journals and as an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University. Amidst my career I have spent several years as a research academic with a focus on trans-disciplinary projects and prototypical built works. These has been widely recognised for excellence and published internationally.
