About Nichole Nesbitt

After clerking with Goodell DeVries for two summers during law school, serving as an associate for eight years, and enjoying partnership since 2009, I am proud to have become managing partner of the firm. My current practice concentrates on professional liability defense and employment and compliance matters within the health care industry. On the professional liability side, I serve as a trial lawyer for regional hospital systems in medical malpractice cases. On the employment and compliance side, I advise clients in employment matters and assist in drafting employee manuals, employment contracts, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents designed to limit clients’ exposure to employment-related litigation. When litigation does arise, I represent my clients as trial counsel. I am past president of the Maryland Defense Counsel and serve as co-chair of its Legislative Committee. I am also past Chair of the Trial Network, an organization of defense trial attorneys across the nation. It is great to be part of the LinkedIn community!
