About Nick Apperley

I have over 20 years motor trade experience. I began at a vehicle auction house as a clerk but soon moved in to the Land Rover franchise network. I have grown from a warranty administrator through sales and into management during my time. In 2010 the business expanded to take on a new franchise, Subaru. I was chosen to develop the business from a scratch. Soon after we were awarded the Isuzu franchise. The dealerships grew and the company now has 2 dealerships. In 2013, due to impending FCA regulation changes, my role changed and I took up the position of Group Business Manager. This involved looking after 4 sites for Finance and Insurance. Looking after budgets and achieving targets whilst ensuring full FCA compliance at all times. I oversaw the companies lengthy FCA application to completion and accreditation was gained. In July 2016 I took up a new new.position with Prolease as a New Business Manager. Working with suppliers and customers to secure the right funding options to suit their needs. In July 2017 I accepted a position as Retail Finance Manager with the Tallis Amos Group. A field based role I control and organise all retail finance deals from quoting to proposing and reconciling after pay out. I am a keen sportsman and enjoy most sports both watching and participating. My real sporting passion is golf. I have been playing for 11 years and now have a current playing handicap of 3. I have held positions of office at the golf club and helped run the club as part of their committee. I was chairman of competition for 2 years and chairman of greens for a further year. I enjoy finding solutions to any problem and working though them to get a positive result.
