About Nick Baciu

I have over 15 years of experience as a financial consultant. Most of my career has been focused on intellectual property including valuation, damages assessments, strategy, lending, transactions, and licensing negotiations. My experience also includes conducting enterprise valuations and quantifying economic damages arising from non-IP related disputes including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and other general litigation matters. I've consulted for many Fortune 500 companies, and in a wide range of industries including: 4G/5G, blockchain, video gaming, energy, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, apparel, agriculture, banking, real estate, satellite communications, among others. I have an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. I am also the former Chair of the Valuation & Pricing Committee of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) USA & Canada. I am a Co-Founder of Places Media, a company that provides consulting services and develops media products around a variety of topics including finance, media, and journalism. In 2020, my partner and I built out a Sprinter van and traveled around the United States.
