About Nick Bair

Riding motorcycles since I was a teenager not only taught me the thrill of taking a leap, a new adventure, of working hard and continuing to learn to achieve my main goal, but it enhanced my attention to detail that I bring into work every day. Taking a bike apart, creating a mental map of where every piece is supposed to be, and visualizing the outcome of different scenarios if I change a key part of the bike, is applicable in business. Business requires strategy, every client’s needs are different and complex—consulting with a customer to fully understand their needs is key to designing an innovative solution and ultimately a win-win scenario for all stakeholders. My process: Create a series of scenarios of everything that can go right and wrong. Favorable and unfavorable outcomes occur on a spectrum, plans should be designed as such. Prepare for the unexpected, it is not a question of if something unexpected will occur, but rather to what extent. Being able to handle unexpected events on the fly, by analyzing the situation, and taking it one step at a time, is key to maximizing success.
