About Nick Barron

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Hispanic Studies ('23). I also have a Certificate in Conflict Management from the Straus Institute at the Caruso School of Law. Graduated with a Masters in Business Analytics at Florida Atlantic University ('25). MUSIC: Proficient in songwriting, music and rehearsal direction, and music production. My creative projects have won over in awards. I am an independent artist ("Nick Barron") with music available on Spotify, Apple Music, and more. I have led bands with 5+ musicians in faith-based contexts for ten years. I have held multiple worship direction or leadership roles, including my role as Worship Director for a gospel music group at Pepperdine. I also have experience in choral composition and film scoring. SPANISH: Fluent in everyday conversation, proficient in professional contexts. Being from greater Miami, I have always had a deep appreciation for the Spanish language and its associated cultures. I grew up in a home with Spanish speakers and have studied Spanish all my life. I had the privilege to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for ten weeks in Pepperdine’s Upper Division Spanish Intensive Program. After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I accepted a role as an English Teaching Assistant in a small town in the region of Galicia, Spain, to continue my pursuit for language proficiency and full cultural immersion. My journey as a non-native speaker to fluency has been one of great joy; it has been an honor to learn so much from the various Hispanic cultures that I have been exposed to. I hope to give back to those who struggle with language learning. I have volunteered at the Malibu Labor Exchange, helping Spanish-speaking workers with their English, and I hope to participate in more volunteer work such as this.
