About Nick Brinker

Currently I am a Senior Vice President and Head of Construction Services within Heitman's broader Due Diligence & Closing Department. With over $52 billion in assets under management Heitman is a global real estate investment management firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois with over 350 real estate professionals and 10 offices worldwide. I have over twenty-five years of general real estate experience including commercial real estate acquisitions due diligence, real estate development, capital projects budgeting & implementation, building design & construction, and project management. I am Chicago based and have assembled a strong network of local and national contacts in the design, construction, and real estate communities. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa earning degrees in Civil-Structural Engineering and Business Administration and furthered my formal education earning a Master of Science in Real Estate from DePaul University focusing on real estate development and project management. I am licensed Structural Engineer and stay active in North American Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM), Construction Lenders Risk Managers (CLRM), and other real estate and professional associations.
