Increasing brand awareness with timely, meaningful messaging to the target audience that impacts sales. As the Director of Marketing at Clam Outdoors, the marketing team that I lead propelled Clam to be the market share leader. We did so with creative and strategic thinking, hard work, impeccable timing and dynamic delivery of messaging while being flexible as marketing continues to evolve. As a Director of Marketing for a small company I created annual marketing plans that generated 350 Million plus impressions. Getting creative, stretching the dollar and leveraging relationships that I built were huge factors in obtaining these kinds of numbers. While working closely with the media on their needs I was able to generate on average annually 10 plus (14 in 2015-16)"front cover" images in industry publications. BUILDING MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS – identifying key relationships to develop for the betterment of a brand. Using my ability to relate to people, I gain the trust and respect of those relationships resulting in a clear advantage against the competition. BRINGING A BRAND TO LIFE – with messaging that the consumers and retail partners get excited about. I have proven through strategic and creative thinking you can create a story that people will be talking about resulting in top of mind brand awareness. My understanding of being dynamic and on time will result in an increase of brand awareness. STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS – has proven to be an asset as I have presented a brand to retailer partners, consumers and the media. Identifying those key talking points I have had a positive, effective impact at sales meetings, media and public events. My passion and ability to publicly speak has resulted in incremental exposure, increased sales and market share growth.
