About Nick Condos

Sydney-born designer Nicholas Condos serves as Founder of Harbour Outdoor, a design company that creates modern, handcrafted, luxury indoor, outdoor and patio furniture with unique Australian style. Inspired by the unique make-up of their family heritage, Nicholas and his brother, Harrison, set out in 2009 to scale up the production of what their blacksmith father started in 1976 – outdoor furniture which encourages its owners to “live their best life.” Nicholas’ passion for design, detail and architecture inspired he and Harrison to grow Tecno Furniture. The result: Harbour Outdoor, which has developed an industry reputation for its furniture collections’ Indonesian Teak Wood aesthetic and craftsmanship, and all carefully passed down from one generation to the next. Earlier in his career and schooling, Nicholas studied graphic design extensively, which he believes has contributed to Harbour Outdoor’s timeless, modern appeal and the fact that it’s an easy choice for architects and designers. Much of the fusion of traditional and modern elements in the company’s designs can be traced to the brothers’ Australian roots. Nicholas’ passion for the country’s modern beach houses, which blend effortlessly into the rugged coastline, is a prime example of the beauty created in the signature design techniques. According to Nicholas, Harbour Outdoors is a lifestyle brand, “steeped in a culture that promotes the Australian way of life. This includes our love of harbor life, outdoors, travel, nature, modern design all expressed through each and every single furniture collection.” To date, Harbour Outdoors has developed hospitality partnerships with big name brands across the United States, including Restoration Hardware, MacArther Place, Kelly Slater Wave Company, and The Parker Palm Springs, as well as with famous eateries such as Elephante and Kassi Club.
