I specialise in leading strategic risk analytics change initiatives; interacting with quantitative developers at a detailed level whilst applying rigour to steer delivery and articulate complex concepts to senior audiences. My experience spans the entire business-change spectrum, from target operating model design to project delivery, where I have supported a range of leading financial institutions to achieve their most critical strategic and regulatory change objectives. My expertise is focussed in the capital markets domain where I have worked in depth in market risk, stress testing, counterparty credit risk, and model risk management. These projects have spanned both first and second lines of defence with Front Office, Risk, Finance and Technology functions. Adding to this a modest range of projects in retail banking and on the buy-side has given me a broad appreciation of the different considerations and challenges in effectively managing risk across the spectrum of financial services.
