About Nick Donato

I enjoy working with people to brainstorm and breakdown problems of any size into actionable and measurable solutions. Testing hypothesis and following through with plans or pivoting and changing when needed to create something useful and actionable for the customer. Through my education I have taken IT related classes such as: System Analysis and Design, Web Site Administration, Database Administration, Programming, and statistics as well as a great deal of business related classes such as marketing, management, accounting and finance. Each class helping create a foundation for my IT and Business knowledge and career. Through these years of academia I've learned to enjoy working with people and although aggravating at times I find it to be a fulfilling experience that allows friendships to blossom where you would never of thought possible. In addition to school, I've done internet related work for "Arborscape" helping develop several SEO friendly sites that brought in over leads and visits, an increase of roughly 15% from the previous year. From this job I've become proficient in both Wordpress, Excel and developed a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and photo editing software. As a long time Bruce Lee fan I feel his quote to be "like water" rings true with more things than kicking ass. But as a life lesson and guide to a career in IT where everything changes all the time; making the ability to adapt as important as breathing. Because of this I look to learn new skills and get to know people and organizations that understand the importance of continuously learning and adapting. By becoming employed in a company that encourages cross training and allows for outside the box thinking I look to adapt and become more fluent in the IT industry as a whole.
