About Nick Dragoi

Greetings everyone, I am the founder of Deferendum and I am excited to share a little bit about myself and my journey with you all. My career in the online business started in 2008 when I landed my first job as an Online Copywriter and Graphic Designer for a leading direct response company called Studio Moderna. Even though I had previously worked as a teacher in Romania's public education system while studying at the University of Journalism and Communications Science in Bucharest, I knew I had found my calling when I discovered the online reporting system. While I enjoyed writing copy that sold and designing winning banners, my passion truly lay in turning data into insights and insights into actions. Since 2010, I have held various management roles in the online industries of auto-moto, luxury, travel, education, and publishing. To keep up with the ever-changing technology landscape, I got my Scrum Master certification a few years ago. Prior to that, I completed my master's degree in Communication and earned my University degree in Psychology. Interestingly, my journey towards entrepreneurship started long before my online career. As a young kid, I dreamed of money and fame, so by the age of 16, I was already making a good income by playing guitar in a band. Ole! In a way, I see my work with Deferendum as a continuation of my passion for composing and creating. I may be using different instruments, but they are all meant to resonate with the same emotions. Applauses at a concert, a five-star review on Google, a stadium booing, or a negative Facebook feedback - they all carry a unique energy and emotion that I strive to capture and harness in the work that I do.
