As an empathic spirit, I am hardwired to care unconditionally for those with whom I engage. I believe in a holistic therapeutic approach focused on inclusion and I strive to understand the whole person- the mind, body and spirit undertaking this journey. It is a great honor to build a positive therapeutic alliance, and I will take great care in providing a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for our work together. Drawing from extensive training and practice in Mindfulness-based therapies including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I can help with hindrance from whatever the challenge, whether it's disruptive mental, emotional, or behavioral experiences, both past, present, or in the perceptive future. I have worked with a variety of populations within various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and in-home locations. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents, those presenting with behavioral issues including autism spectrum, ADHD, anxiety, social deficits, and defiance issues and have had great success working with treatment resistant individuals. I continue to passionately provide individual, family, couple, and group therapy services.
