About Nick Fox

Recognised and broadly regarded as an expert in the field of EHS management and regulatory approvals, with over 25 years of experience in the petroleum, resources, infrastructure, industrial and Government sectors working internationally and across Australia. I am currently the senior EHSS leader at Santos responsible for a diverse team covering the areas of Environment, Health, Safety, Security, Land Access, Cultural Heritage, Aboriginal Engagement and Tenure management. A strategic thinker, I work with the Santos Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability Committee of the Board and the executive committee to establish EHSS performance and governance strategies, guiding and leading complex environmental approval processes and providing strategic advice and counsel for all aspects of EHSS management across all Santos’ operations and activities. I have demonstrable expertise in: EHS management systems, project and corporate level environmental management; Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA/EES); due diligence and ISO14001 compliance auditing; environmental risk management and stakeholder and public consultation.
