About Nick Garson

Nick Garson is a Team Leader and senior project manager in Boeing's Global Environmental Sustainability (GES) Remediation group. He has managed environmental cleanup projects throughout the United States and Australia. His responsibilities include: leading investigations of soil and water to identify potential contaminants and implementing remedial alternatives at multiple, complex project locations. These matters include environmental liability associated with compliance or transactions related to potential/newly acquired or merged businesses and properties, leased properties and business or property sales for domestic and international projects. Garson’s leadership experience includes special assignments with cross functional organizations: leading the Environmental Policy & Strategy Group as a Senior Manager (interim); as a charter member of the EHS Diversity & Inclusion Team; leading the Remediation Program Management Excellence Team and leading the Australia Remediation Process Team, responsible for providing guidance to Boeing Australia on Remediation and Due Diligence best practices. In addition to his current assignments, Garson took on special assignments as Vice-President, President and member of the Board of Trustees for the Sustainable Remediation Forum (SURF). He is a member of the RemTec and Emerging Contaminants Summit Scientific Advisory Board and the Battelle Remediation Conference Steering Committee. He is also active in the International Aerospace Environment Group (IAEG), having led work groups focused on the transition to the new ISO 14001 EMS standard, the TSCA Inventory Notification Rule and the possible impact of a BREXIT No Deal on the A&D chemical supply chain. He is a recipient of IAEG's 2019 Excellence Award for outstanding environmental contributions to the Aerospace & Defence industry.
