A Challenger Brand Expert in Los Angeles - helping brands and business of all shapes and sizes to solve their problems and to reach their ambitions through Challenger Brand thinking. I've worked in advertising and marketing since leaving university, and am fascinated by marketing's ability to change anything. I've always been a "fan" of great marketing. At the same time I am always disappointed by the frequency with which huge budgets are thrown at terrible ideas. Marketing at its worst is about bland platitudes, where intelligent people resign themselves to "tweak indifference"(in the words of Adam Morgan). When it's done right, marketing is about grabbing fame - and the best brands do this through thought and creativity, rather than big budgets. This is what I want to be involved in, whether that's directly or in helping others to find new ways of thinking about old problems. My personal interests, and the categories I most enjoy are technology, sports and entertainment, but I've worked on more or less everything.
