About Nick Hall

Nick is a development geologist with over 35 years of international experience gained from operating, consulting and service company environments. He has specialist expertise in reservoir characterisation and 3D reservoir modelling. Mr Hall has held various technical and leadership positions in multi-disciplined (subsurface, legal and commercial) project teams involved in onshore and offshore subsurface development; field development planning; reservoir management; CO2 sequestration storage site appraisal; equity and reserves determination of both conventional and unconventional (shale gas, tight gas and CBM) resources; He is currently a Principal Consultant with Cypher Consulting Services and since 2006 has also been an associate with Resource Investment Strategy Consultants (RISC). Nick was awarded a B.Sc. Hons.(Geology) degree from the University of Durham, UK (1981) and is a member of SPE and AAPG.
