About Nick Heibrink

Currently, I work in the telecom/telematics branch as account manager-/relationship manager. My primary tasks are to maintain healthy relationships with both clients and partners. Often, I engage with our customers/partners by providing customer/technical support. Occasionally, I help out on projects, supporting businesses from within our network. In 2013, I successfully passed the final exams and was granted the (JAR-) Flight Crew License. As a pilot you learn to cope with high stress levels, to multitask effectively and to share the workload. A synergetic cockpit crew means, 1 + 1 = 3. My profound sense of responsibility and good situational awareness reduce stress-levels for me and the team. Early 2014, I started working as aircraft brake operator for KLM at Schiphol airport (AMS), operating various aircraft systems for towing purposes. I continued my career at CSMART, center for simulator maritime training, as simulator operator/technician and assistant simulator instructor in a brand new and very professional simulator training facility. CSMART appointed me as coach/mentor, to guide the simulator instructors and to train the sim-operators. In addition, I was assigned to revise existing courses and to join in on the development of brand new courses (e.g. leadership; environmental; fuel-efficiency) and training (e.g. soft-skill; communication). Throughout my 4 years with CSMART, I evolved in both interpersonal and professional skills.
