About Nick Howley

I am Nicholas Howley, a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and William Rainey Harper College. I have a Associates degree of Arts- History and a Bachelors degree of Arts- History. I have completed my Masters of Arts- History at Northeastern Illinois University and completed my Masters of Library and Information Sciences degree at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee in 2022. My current goal is to find a job working in a public library, which I hope to follow up on by getting a job in a college library. I have also attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Eagle Scout Achievement – Boy Scouts of America – National Organization 2010 • Earned 64 multidisciplinary merit badges • Assumed multiple positions of leadership over eight-year period • Led and participated in individual and team Eagle Scout projects • Completed a long-term ongoing Eagle Scout project: 1. Led in the constructing of four sets of Baggo Boards and hosted a tournament for the Arlington Heights Senior Center 2. Assembled, sanded and finished staining of Baggo Board, and designed and produced special bean bags for team games 3. Hosted a community tournament using the completed Baggo Boards
