About Nick Huber

What do you get when you put a book loving theatre nerd with a love of nature and history within talking distance? A child who will do a book report as the Crocodile Hunter. A teenager who will dress as Clifford or Edgar Allen Poe for your Fundraising Gala. A man who will lead kids (and adventurous adults) through muddy swamps, old submarines, haunted streets, and good old fashioned auditoriums in the name of Education and Adventure! My own passion for learning and a flair for the dramatic has given me a passion for sharing that information with others. I believe that the core of teaching others lies in connecting to your audience, reflective and adaptive techniques to engage them, and above all else, enthusiasm! Creating an enthusiasm in learning creates lifelong learning - and that starts from the passion of those who are willing to teach us and start that spark in us all to be curious and care. I have 8+ years of professional experience in developing, creating, and implementing education materials lessons, and programming. My work background has included public school teaching, substitute teaching, museums, nature centers, and both public and private tourism. This variety speaks to my ability to adapt my teaching skills to a variety of subjects and connect to audiences of varying ages and backgrounds with confidence. I'm a lifelong learner, and I am happy to share that with others so that they will be able to go off on their own and continue to do it on their own terms.
