I am currently sole in-house counsel for several digital marketing companies that work across various sectors and jurisdictions. I have 17 years’ experience as a commercial, corporate governance, life-sciences, healthcare and sports lawyer having trained at a tier one ranked law firm before joining the largest legal business in the world, next becoming a partner at a national firm and then switching to an in-house role. I cherish the strategic decision-making process, project and operational management and delivering high quality legal services to colleagues and clients in an efficient and pragmatic manner, often at short notice.I have a broad practice in commercial contract negotiation, regulatory compliance and corporate governance issues, including stakeholder and crisis management as well as intellectual property protection. I have drafted procurement contracts, governance policies, Licensing, Data Privacy, SaaS Agreements and General Terms of Business. I have undertaken Risk Management responsibilities and Board Advisory roles, including company secretary duties to develop integrity based decision making and wide ranging project implementation experience.I have dealt with a number of sensitive Subject Access Requests, Freedom of Information requests, Data Privacy and Protection issues, and highly sensitive international security aspects. I have also advised on a number of dispute matters, including disciplinary, employment, regulatory, High Court and Court of Appeal proceedings (Injunctions, Judicial Reviews, Statutory Appeals) as well as inquests, civil and criminal litigation.
