About Nick Marshall

I currently work for Allstate Insurance as a Operational Performance Leader and Casualty Processor Team Leader-that’s a mouth full. After finishing my degree, I was in search for a new career. I found a job at Allstate insurance and started handling auto claims as a liability adjuster. With hard work and motivation, I quickly promoted to handling more complex injury claims and working with claimant attorneys. Part of that role included analyzing and evaluating injury claims and negotiating injury settlements with attorneys. I currently manage three separate teams which support Utah's casualty claims office. My role is very unique because the work my employees do touches every other team in our office. One team even works virtually and supports our entire region which includes four states. In addition to this, I oversee compliance and technology in our office. But let me tell you how I got here. At about 10 yrs old I started working with my brother who owned a landscaping company. As I continued in the company I was given more responsibility and had a lot of opportunities working for a small business. Working for a family business I learned values such as hard work and integrity that would shape me to become the person I am today. I love to learn new things and have found this has helped me to become a quick learner. I am a self-taught leatherworker and love to create things with my CNC laser cutting/engraving machine. I find satisfaction in being a “maker”. I am also in the process of starting my own business to sell these products. I love spending time with my amazing wife and two beautiful daughters. They are the most important things in my life.
