Global Director of Business Development for MTI Welding. Driving growth for MTI's dedicated range of friction based solutions. MTI manufacture direct drive, inertia, linear, friction stir and low force friction welding machines. The company also has an extensive manufacturing services division supporting process advice, feasibility through to serial production. The company have supplied solutions worldwide for a vast range of applications including aerospace, astrospace, construction, agg, oil and gas, automotive, nuclear and defence. Manufacturing Technology Inc operate from three sites globally including our USA HQ, UK and FWT, India. All three sites support solution manufacture, manufacturing services subcontract welding and service and parts. MTI also have a strategic partnership with Stirtec, Austria for friction stir welding which blends state of the art process excellence with global manufacturing capability for both small and large scale solutions. Our FSW solutions are proven in applications including Space, Rail, Ship building, EV and Electronics to name but a few. My background: Over 37 years experience in domestic and international sales management, marketing and business development. I have worked with thermal management solutions, plastics welding products and friction welding technologies. In recent years I have sold capital equipment globally. Extensive experience in the North American, Chinese and European markets. Previously headed up global sales for Thompson Friction Welding (part of KUKA Robotics).
