About Nick Mooney

I graduated from Ball State University in 2019, studying Interpersonal Communication, with minors in Organizational Communication and Marketing. I chose this career path because it fully encompasses what I’m passionate about, which is the ever-evolving world of Communications & Marketing. I have an array of various work experiences, working multiple retail positions, full-time jobs, and a valuable internship. In my time spent as a retail associate, I acquired a grasp on the ability to connect with a customer/make a sale, as well as contribute product knowledge/push promotions. In my full-time positions, I learned what it feels like to work hard with no excuses for 40 hours/week. In my internship experience I discovered what it truly means to work in a close knit, team-oriented culture with one universal mission. As an intern, I also created various online content such as infographics and blog posts. My professional experiences have culminated in equipping me with all of the tools I need to jumpstart my career post-graduation. I find myself to be a unique candidate in any position because of my innate feeling of passion for everything I am apart of. I’m someone who takes a lot of pride in my identity and I give 100% in whatever situation I find myself in. I always want to learn more and complete my tasks as precisely as possible, no matter the margin of error. I ask questions and become educated on my assignments, but I’m not afraid to take the initiative and make my best judgement. I would enjoy working in a position that would allow me to leverage my skills in Communications and Marketing. I'm anxious to be able to finally get hands-on experiences. I'm also excited to exercise my abilities in graphic design and prose writing, especially if they are called upon in a particular career field. With my skills and experiences, I feel that I am well-equipped and prepared to immerse myself within whatever career I choose.
