About Nick Morris
I’m a former Paralympian, Director of MGAC, and currently hold the role of the Accessibility + Universal Design Global Service Line Leader for Jensen Hughes. I hold a degree in Human Movement, degree qualifications for both the secondary and vocational educational sectors, ACAA Accreditation and I’m a qualified Livable Housing and Changing Places Accessor. I am committed to the industry and use my lived and professional experiences to mentor many organisations in Australia and worldwide, including Olympic and Paralympic bids, organising committees and large scale events - including staging - where I can foster Accessibility and Universal Design culture. Universal Design and Accessibility are intrinsically linked, as they encompass not only those people of varying physical abilities, but also those with temporary injuries, illnesses, sensory preferences, pregnant or nursing mums, families with young children and aging adults. When I help my clients put people of all abilities as the priority, together we ensure positive outcomes not only for individuals’ everyday lives but can also embrace sustainability practices as a legacy for future generations.
