About Nick Mortimer

I'm currently Troi's Regional Director for Europe and my focus is to take our highly-successful embedded talent model to continental Europe! First port of call is in the Netherlands, out of our Amsterdam European HQ. Troi are ca. 5 years old and have successfully worked with the likes of Miro and Epic Games out of our London and New York City offices. Really excited about what we can achieve. I have 11 years' experience in the tech recruitment world, 6 and a half of that in the agency world, 4 and a half or so within embedded talent. I've embedded (via Troi) with some awesome companies such as SuperAwesome, Hopster, Teamtailor, Chattermill, SAM Labs and Spirable - helping to hire awesome candidates across software engineering, SRE/DevOps, Data/ML, QA/SDET and engineering leadership. My main professional interests are around the tech scaleup and startup space, keeping on top of 'better ways of doing things' within talent & people as well as building Troi (growing our talent team and I'm happy to field questions from a 'potential client' perspective). Happy to get involved in Talent-related podcasts/webinars too. Outside of work I'm one of the those psuedo craft beer-drinking, beard-having, Dulwich Hamlet-going hipster w* & % & rs. That kinda sums me up!
