I am currently the EMS (Ambulance) Manager at Waverly Health Center leading the hospital based ambulance service which covers the cities of Waverly and Shell Rock in Northeastern Iowa. This position came after nearly ten years as a Flight Paramedic for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics' AirCare 1 based in Iowa City. After attending both the EMT-Basic and Paramedic Specialist programs at UIHC's EMSLRC I worked as a Paramedic for Area Ambulance Service in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. During my time at AAS I served as the Supervisor of Night Operations. This involved being responsible for all functions of the service from 6pm to 6am each day. In addition to this time in Cedar Rapids I also served as a Paramedic in Monticello, Iowa. My education includes a BS in EMS Administration from Columbia Southern University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I earned my Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration also from Columbia Southern University with completion in 2021.
