About Nick Nelms

Hello, I am an Mechanical Engineer currently working as a project engineer. My education at The University of Texas at San Antonio laid the foundation for the start of my career. My core competencies include meticulous attention to detail and a robust understanding of mechanical systems, as demonstrated through my work on CO2 and LNG plant projects. At Salof Limited Inc, our team successfully completed rigorous pressure tests and quality checks, ensuring the safety and efficiency of plant operations. A bit more about my background in the workforce is a Freight Associate at Home Depot, where we collectively enhanced store operations through meticulous inventory management. These experiences have taught me how to effectively work in a team and take initiative on the tasks I’ve been given or any issues that arise. My ability to stay calm and collected in high pressure situations and to lead teams to optimal customer care mean I’m adept to leadership and rule following. My abilities at Salof to personally identify issues before they become detrimental, work with welders and my superiors, are essential to a quality assured work environment. I bring a diverse perspective to the team, with a commitment to learning and adapting in dynamic environments.
