About Nick Nelson

I've spent 15+ years helping organizations earn the credibility and permission to lead their own narratives. That work looks different depending on the moment: from a C-suite navigating a workforce transition, to a brand trying to mean something to a new audience, to a product launch that needs to land as more than a press release. I've built teams, redesigned functions, turned around underperforming accounts, and counseled leaders through some of the most consequential moments an organization can face. The range is broad by design - corporate reputation, brand strategy, culture, storytelling - and I'm equally comfortable advising on earnings communications as I am developing a campaign that actually moves people. I've led global communications programs for brands that operate at the center of culture - technology platforms, entertainment properties, consumer lifestyle companies, and social impact organizations - and built the integrated teams that execute them. From public-private collaboration campaigns to cultural advocacy launches to major product introductions, the through-line is the same: earn attention, shape perception, and make it mean something. The intersection of cultural fluency and institutional credibility is where the most interesting communications work happens. That's where I live.
