About Nick Newton

I have over a decade of experience in software development, from UI/UX and SEO, to server administration and large scale data management. I struck out on my own in 2010, and continue in my role managing that business. I have recently rekindled my artistic roots, opening an art gallery and studio. At Renegade Red, we strive to provide a platform for early-to-mid-career artists, and to provide quality arts education to people of all ages. I tend to excel at most things I put my mind to, and rarely like to be limited to only a couple pursuits. My current and ongoing interests— aside from the obvious pursuits in software development, artistic culture, and business— include small-scale craft brewing, furniture construction, my own art, and automation. While these pursuits may seem varied, my interest in them share a common core: my need to utilize concurrent logic and creativity, my desire to understand processes and methods, and my drive to make improvements.
