About Nick Quinn

I lead diverse and multi-disciplinary teams to design complex and critical infrastructure. I know the challenges and opportunities of working across multiple levels of government and private industry to enable business growth, jobs and economic development having led the design team for a significant portion of one of Australia’s largest ongoing infrastructure projects, Inland Rail. I’m passionate about navigating disparate agendas, expertise and skillsets, and am committed to bringing the right people and processes at the right time to the right problem or project. I’m an experienced leader, advisor and technical director to the infrastructure market and have a proven track record in winning and delivering major infrastructure projects. I have a strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit which I apply to focus on win/win outcomes for stakeholders. With more than 15 years’ experience I have undertaken roles that have included responsibilities such as major tender development and delivery, client and project management and team leadership for major infrastructure projects across the private and public sector in Australia. For the past five years I have been Aurecon’s senior representative on the Future Freight Joint Venture (JV), and held the role of Program Manager for the past two years for the JV, for the delivery of Engineering and Environmental Services across five packages of the Inland Rail project for Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC). I’m a member of the Infrastructure Association of Queensland (IAQ) Board and a qualified civil and environmental engineer.
