About Nick Rogers

My passion for the great outdoors was ignited during my formative years in the scenic Pacific Northwest. This fervor for nature led me down an incredible path that eventually took me to the University of Oregon and around the world through the sport of running. A pivotal moment in my athletic journey was the honor of representing the United States at three World Cross Country Championships, clinching a team bronze medal in 2001. The pinnacle of my sporting career came when I realized my dream of becoming an Olympian, proudly representing the United States at the Sydney Olympics. Transitioning into my post-athletic career, I ventured into the world of sports and lifestyle by joining Nike as an EKIN. In this role, I seamlessly leveraged my experiences as a world-class athlete to represent the brand across the southwestern United States. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and our key accounts, I played a pivotal role in launching innovative products, driving sales, and educating the marketplace. I orchestrated promotional and educational events to support product launches for renowned online and brick-and-mortar accounts such as Road Runner Sports and Running Warehouse. Additionally, I lent my support to large brand events based in the Los Angeles office. My tenure as an EKIN paved the way for my career in sales, where I evolved into a results-driven sales executive. My track record speaks volumes about my commitment to progressive growth. Notably, I thrive as a proactive manager and strategic problem-solver, consistently achieving challenging profit goals while ensuring a robust market presence and profitable customer base. Post-Nike, I honed my leadership skills at The Aqualung Group, where I have had the privilege of managing a dynamic team of 20 sales representatives across North America. My leadership style, rooted in natural empathy and servant leadership principles, has fostered a cohesive team of individuals with diverse talents and backgrounds. Additionally I am tasked with the management of several key accounts. This experience has helped me develop a strong combination of strategic thinking, understanding of compliance accounts and a deep understanding of my customers and marketplace needs. Beyond my professional pursuits, I lead an active life outside of work, embracing family time through snowboarding and mountain biking.
