About Nick Rustad

Nick Rustad is a Managing Director and senior executive with 25 years of experience in financial markets. Nick was most currently Deputy Chief Operating Officer of Taula Capital, helping to setup and launch a global discretionary macro absolute return investment firm with over $6bn of assets. Prior to his time at Taula Nick was at J.P. Morgan for 24 years and held a number of senior leadership roles. He was a member of the European Management Committee, Regional Risk Committee and the Global Equities Leadership Team. In his final role there Nick was Head of Futures and Derivatives Clearing at J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB). Nick managed all Futures and Options execution and all Futures and OTC (IRS and CDS) Derivatives Clearing globally. Nick also ran the firms FXPB business. Nick started his career as an Interest Rate trader in Emerging Markets before going on to manage J.P. Morgan's EMEA EM Rates business. Nick was a member of the Board of Directors of the Futures Industry Association (FIA) for six years, serving two of them as Chairman. Nick has also spent time as a Board Member of LCH Ltd, part of the LSEG Group.
