Group Statutory Accounts HEI SORP 2019 (FRS102)+£200m turnover with multiple income streams - Key member of the team producing University group annual statutory accounts for over 10 years with knowledge and experience of transitioning to new accounting standards. Group Primary Financial Statements (SOCI, SOCR, Balance Sheet & Cash flow Statement)- Developed a GLWand BI solution to extract data from Oracle and automate production of Group and Subsidiary Primary Financial Statements; substantially reducing the length of time required to produce Statutory Accounts. Group Consolidations and Eliminations - Manage and eliminate Group inter-company transactions, and consolidate entities with different accounting standards, including overseas entities and foreign currency translation. Monthly Management Accounts and Commentary - Prepared Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet with comparatives and supporting analytical commentary for the reporting pack sent to the University Executive and Finance Committee. Charitable Donations Accounting - Day-to-day financial management of the University's charitable donations and supporting the Development and Alumni team. Governance Committees - Attend, support and prepare reports for the University's Endowment Committee. Membership includes Chair of Court, Principal and lay members. Member of the University's Disbursement Group - Providing reporting and decision-making on the expenditure of philanthropic funds. OSCR Reporting - Annual OSCR reporting for the Group and separate charities, including Trustees' Reports and Independent Examinations. Complex Database Maintenance - Annually build and maintain rules in Ellucian Banner to enable +£40m student fee charging. Enabling Change in Information Systems - Business lead on Oracle E-Business Suite inter-company billing module implementation. Developed accounting structure in Oracle to manage changes in reporting requirements. Business Proposals - Successfully proposed changes, via committees, to Rest-of-UK (RUK) undergraduate fee phasing, structure and bursaries and then implemented.
