About Nick Teach

I have served on active-duty in the United States Marine Corps for 20 years and currently reside in the Alexandria, VA area. My experience is wide-ranging as I have served as an AH-1W and AH-1Z pilot, a Forward Air Controller with the infantry, within Training Command, in the acquisition community, and specialized in the programming aspect of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution, Assessment (PPBEA) process. I have deployed worldwide, including combat operations within the Middle East and multiple operations in Southeast Asia. I have earned various awards at all levels and am Level 1 Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified. I am currently serving as the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Branch Head and Warfighting Enterprise Programming Team (EPT) Lead within Headquarters Marine Corps, Combat Development and Integration (CD & I). I have developed a dedication to enhancing the effectiveness of my beloved organization through an in-depth understanding of the PPBEA process within the Department of Defense. My level of expertise directly contributes to the efficient use of resources within the Marine Corps to enhance warfighting programs and acquisition efforts. Along with my passion of ensuring the future of national defense, I am also passionate about serving my community. I volunteer to coach multiple youth baseball teams in the evenings in order to pass on my unique understanding of team work, leadership, discipline, and work ethic.
