About Nick van Dijk

With over seven years of work experience in the healthcare and consulting sectors, I am a passionate and skilled physical therapist who specializes in orthopedic and sports-Injury treatment. My mission is to help patients achieve their optimal level of function and independence, and to improve their quality of life. I am currently working with TRIA Orthopedics, a leading provider of comprehensive orthopedic care, where I apply my expertise in evidence-based practice, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I also bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in industrial and operations engineering, and have worked as a business consultant for Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.In my current role as a physical therapist at TRIA Orthopedics, I treat patients with a variety of orthopedic and sports-Injury conditions, creating individualized plans of care to address their specific goals and needs. I use a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and home programs to facilitate their recovery and return to activity. I also designed and gave a presentation to over 100 physical therapy staff on the administrative burden of healthcare, especially for patients from disadvantaged communities, and how to better support uninsured and underinsured patients. Additionally, I leverage my skills in corporate strategy, presentations, and data analysis, which I developed during my previous roles as a business associate consultant and analyst at ZS Associates, to contribute to the operational and financial performance of the organization.
