About Nicklas Karjunen

While doing my thesis in spring of 2023 about "Production Development Using Lean Methods" I read multiple times that no process can be perfect but we can try to reach for perfect processes with continous improvements. I have gained good practical experience with the theory in question and I am interested in its wider benefits in the future as well.I have always been interested in different processes in manufacturing and how every part of the process is needed. I have been working in Aurajoki Oy for over 2 years and the last 3 months I have been working as Manufacturing Development Engineer in the Turku factory. As a person I like working independently but I can identify when teamwork is needed for better outcome. I am very social person that likes to ask questions to have multiple inputs regarding the matter. I like to work in challenging environments because there is always the possibility that I can learn something new and important from it. I am a 23-year-old Bachelor of Engineering, Industrial Management and Engineering. I graduated from Turku University of Applied Sciences on June 2023. I have always been interested in techical fields and learning new things. After my studies I want to further deepen my understanding of production development and lean.
