About Nickole Assi

My name is Nickole Assi, I am senior at Becker College and will be receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology a year early. During my undergraduate studies, I worked at Ulta beauty where I gained skills in communication, marketing strategies, and team-leadership. I am currently interning at Shepard Hill Elementary School. I assist the head speech and language pathologist with children from pre-K to third grade concerning each child's speech development. I am working with fourteen children who have speech disorders such as articulation, phonological, and motor. Along with speech disorders, I work with children who also have other disabilities such as; cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, and ADD. My internship has helped me discover my love for working with children and has helped me develop a skill set of flexibility, time-management, and creative thinking. My experiences within my previous place of employment, Becker College, and Shepard Hill Elementary have equipped me to take on any professional setting that presents critical challenges. I am a dedicated, energetic, passionate, and focused individual that is looking to become a part of a large children's organization that will encourage growth and enhance my education in early childhood development.
