About Nicky Baker

Below is a short video highlighting some of the major musical projects I've worked on in recent years. Created by a talented editor colleague, Stephen Eckelberry. Enjoy it and thank you in advance for watching: I have been a professional singer-songwriter and actress/voice talent since 1997. I also use my language skills (bilingual English/French and fluent in Spanish) to adapt foreign scripts and lipsync to English for the international market. I have written or co-written dozens of songs over the years, many of which have been sung by signed artists, including myself, for both the record and movie industries. I work daily in various aspects of audiovisual production. My tasks include writing and developing ideas for TV, film and theatre, copywriting, recording and editing voice over, writing and performing songs (or writing for other performers), adapting TV or movie scripts from French to English (lipsync), and writing articles.
