About Nicky Bolt

After spending two years based in Kuwait working as Head of Initiatives at Balsam International I returned to Australia in May 2019. As a successful recipient of Commonwealth funding through the Regional University Centres Program, Study Hub West Coast was created with me at the helm in 2019. Based on the West Coast, uniquely we are the only one of it's kind in Tasmania. Study Hub West Coast is dedicated to providing academic support and wraparound student services to regional and remote learners at a post-secondary level. Over a 4 year period my team has created a community of learners on the West Coast which is an enormous success to date. andIn 2021 we created another Study Centre in the Circular Head region in NW Tasmania again with me project managing the concept. Focusing on education for the past twenty years has been both my career and my passion. Projects of this magnitude have expanded my skillset immensely and I'm super proud of what my team and I have achieved in the education space in Tassie so far. On the side I'm a passionate advocate for Women's Empowerment programs and Boys Wellbeing. I'm fearless when it comes to creating new initiatives and excel in thinking outside the box. I am confident in saying yes and comfortable in saying no.
