In another life I could have been a detective as I love solving puzzles and looking for clues, but I really do love what I do!No day is the same in marketing - sometimes I’m able to exercise my creative flair designing a range of B2B marketing materials for both digital and print, while other times I’m SEO copywriting, proofing and editing. A lot of the time I can satisfy my analytical brain by looking at numbers and interpreting data, followed by problem-solving to come up with creative solutions.Colleagues would describe me as process-driven and efficient (and friendly…I hope!). If you give me a task, you know it will get completed.Some people don’t care about the little things, like typos or style inconsistencies and that’s ok, we‘re not all wired the same, but I do care about these things! I hate making mistakes (even the most detail-oriented miss things at times), and to my detriment, I can find it difficult to brush these things off, which I why I triple, quadruple check at times to ensure everything is right first time. My nightmare situation would be seeing content I’ve written and designed printed in a business magazine only to spot an error.
