About Nicolas Arsenault

My passion for coding started with a simple TI-80 Plus, when I realize I could make a simple program that would do all the work for me. The feeling of making a computer do the work for me is amazing. But as I was learning to code and the tooling evolved, my passion switch from a simple "A computer can do someones work." to "A computers can do things that would be impossible otherwise". From there I got a passion into making software that not only can simplify works, but bring it further An important part of that is to bring my own works to the next level. I always try to find the best tools and technologies that increase the quality of my work. I also think it's important that the quality is more than just functional. It's also usability, maintainability, efficiency, reliability an portability. I have a particular interest in better library, test framework, static and dynamic analyzers and continuous integration tools that help me achieve a better quality. With the continuous evolution of software, the quality that we can achieve as never stop rising. For that reason I keep myself up to date and keep searching for new solutions and better ways of solving problems. To help me achieve this I regularly attempt Meetup such as the Linux Meetup and C++ Meetup.
