For as long as I can remember, I have been a firm believer in the power of storytelling and collaboration. The driving force behind my professional journey is characterized by experiences where there was a clear synergy between my passions and skills. With a strong foundation in content creation and strategic planning, I am dedicated to crafting compelling narratives that resonate with people and drive meaningful engagement. As a Team Lead at PGL Environmental Consultants, I have honed my leadership abilities, managing a talented team of communications and administration professionals, ensuring the execution of daily operations across British Columbia and Ontario. My experience in content strategy allows me to develop and create impactful social media campaigns that highlight our expertise and organizational values. My background as a Copy Editor has sharpened my eye for detail and ability to produce polished, high-quality content. As a Radio Host and Producer at CKCU FM, I explored 2SLGBTQ+ issues and culture through music, guest interviews, and personal narratives. On and off the air, I enhanced my communication skills and ability to connect with diverse stakeholders internally and externally. This experience was challenging yet profoundly rewarding. Through it I found my voice and adopted an entrepreneurial mindset, which continues to deeply influence how I show up in the world. With a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University of Ottawa, I am equipped with a deep understanding of the contemporary media landscape and social justice issues. I bring a diverse and dynamic skill set to communications and content creation. I am passionate about producing communication strategies that contribute to the success of forward-thinking organizations.
