About Nicolas Gilgen

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and a research associate at the St.Gallen Institute of Management in Asia (SGI-HSG), specializing in business-to-business (B2B) data sharing. My mission is to advance the understanding and practice of B2B data sharing, fostering collaborative ecosystems that drive sustainable business growth and innovation.At SGI-HSG, I conduct quantitative research on effective data sharing between organizations. My work focuses on developing insights to overcome hurdles to data sharing, enabling businesses to unlock new opportunities and enhance their competitive edge.In addition to my research, I co-create and co-teach the Summer School in Asia (Singapore) and the Summer School in Switzerland (St.Gallen). These programs offer international high school students a unique learning experience, emphasizing management, innovation, and entrepreneurship within diverse cultural contexts. I have successfully scaled these programs, achieving high engagement levels.I am also involved in the University of St.Gallen's Asia Term, the flagship undergraduate exchange program in Singapore. This role includes overseeing and coaching real-world student consulting projects with corporate partners and organizing impactful business study trips to Thailand and China. These initiatives not only enhance students' consulting skills but also deliver tangible solutions to our corporate partners.
