About Nicolas Leroy

Thanks for visiting my profile! My name is Nicolas, I’m interested in technology and people. I operate by the scrum values: Respect, focus, commitment, courage and openness. Add an entrepreneurial spirit, agile mindset, continuous learning to the mix and you’ll get a pretty good idea of who I am. As a bachelor in nursing, I started my career as a male-nurse in psychiatry. It helped me develop my communication skills. After a postgraduate in IT, I started a career in IT. Going from an IT consultant for Deloitte, to drupal developer (as I really loved opensource and the web, my drupal.org user is http://drupal.org/user/3527), to ultimately a freelance developer/scrum master. By doing many different projects, I was able to accumulate a lot of business knowledge in the media, telecommunication, and finance industry. And since 2010 I also got “infected” with the agile virus, Meanwhile I try to learn new things, that’s why I also have a certification in nutrition.(Precision Nutrition Level 1)Since 2013 I started my own company to freelance as a software developer, and slowly this evolved towards providing services as a scrum master (with technical background). I help businesses to organise their IT teams, and improve focus. The goal is to inspect and adapt, to improve the way of working, and ultimately improve the delivery.Would you like to discuss about scrum, agile, coaching, leadership, software development or entrepreneurship?
